It's no secret that 2020 was a challenging one for many people. But with all the unexpected changes, inconveniences, and struggles, there were also positives and bright sides...and those are the things I choose to focus on. For me, I got to spend a lot of quality time with my husband and three daughters. Precious time that I have absolutely loved. It also gave me the time to start up Tall Reali-tees, a business idea that I've wanted to take on for several years now. But, more on that at another time. Whether 2020 was good to you or you just couldn't wait to tell it good riddance, it's now a new year with new possibilities and hopes. "Tall Girl" on Netflix: Real Life or Not?

Have you seen the newly released Netflix movie, Tall Girl? It's about a 6'1" high school teen, Jodi, who faces insecurities about her height. She deals with the usual tall comments ("How's the weather up there?") from the other kids at school and gets drawn into the stereotypical idea that she can only date a taller guy. Without giving away too much of the ending, she eventually overcomes her self-doubt and sees herself as the beautiful and confident girl she should be. I recently sat down and watched the movie and have my own opinions...but, I want to hear yours! What did you think? Was it relatable to your own teen life or not? Well, Long Tall Sally is coming to MY town anyway! ;) This weekend they will be hosting a tall clothing pop up shop in Dallas and I'm so excited! I always feel so lucky when they come this way. It doesn't happen often, so I'm going to take advantage. I can't wait to see what they bring. I'm hoping for some wardrobe basics (jeans, tees, etc.) as well as some fabulous choices from their winter line and maybe even a sneak peek of new spring styles. Great News from Alloy Apparel

Hey, friends! I just wanted to pass along some info from tall shop, Alloy Apparel. They took feedback from customers (like myself!) who were frustrated with having to pay extra just for buying tall sizes and made a change...all tall sizes are now the same price as non-tall sizes! The same goes for their plus sizes as well. No extra cost added! I applaud Alloy for listening to their tall customers. We don't want to pay extra just because we have long legs and long arms. This is a good move by the company. Thanks, Alloy! On another positive note, they have also restocked a number of jeans and pants in their tall collection.
