• Jeans and Pants – For tall women, it's important that your jeans and pants aren't too short. The bottom of the pant leg should land at the top of the foot and end at about mid-heel on the back of your shoe. Pull out a tape measure and figure out your inseam measurement. Now, use that inseam when shopping for jeans and pants. And, don't forget to account for heels. The higher the heel you're planning on wearing, the longer the inseam you need to look for.
• Shirts – When it comes to finding the correct shirt size, just make sure it's not too small overall. You don't want buttons that pull, armpit seams that are too tight, sleeves that don't reach your wrist bone, or a length that doesn't fall past your pant waist. • Skirts and Dresses – As a general rule, go with skirts and dresses that hit the knee or just above it. Those that are too long look old-fashioned and out-of-style (not including special occasion floor-length dresses). Those that are too short can look tacky and inappropriate.
